Oak Crest Institute of Science
The Oak Crest Institute of Science (OCIS) is continually investigating and innovating in areas that have a high societal impact, such as biomedical and environmental science. Drug delivery systems based on intravaginal rings are female-controlled strategies that allow women to protect themselves from HIV and other infections, as well as unintended pregnancy. One such product, the Non-ARV/Non-Hormonal Multi-Purpose Vaginal Ring is being developed by OCIS and will be studied in MATRIX.
