Farlane Mtisi

Farlane Mtisi holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Applied Chemistry and a Masters in Analytical Chemistry, both from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Prior to her current role as a New Business Development and Regulatory Affairs Chemist at Datlabs (Pvt) Ltd., she worked as a Research & Development Chemist at Plus Five Pharmaceuticals. Farlane has extensive experience in new product development, which includes preparation of marketing authorisation applications, as well as analytical method development and formulation of medicines. She is passionate about women’s sexual and reproductive health and has an interest in development of medicines for conditions that predominantly affect this demographic.
