Madison Langrin
Research Assistant
Madison Langrin is a Research Assistant at CAMI Health, a program of the Public Health Institute. Having first joined CAMI as a Public Health Intern in June 2021, she initially focused on increasing awareness of multipurpose prevention technologies (MPTs) through online dissemination tools, including social media, a new MPT Mini-Video Series, and stakeholder outreach. Subsequently, she stayed on to continue supporting a wider range of projects focused on sexual and reproductive health research and advocacy in the role of Research Assistant. These projects have included supporting the CaSE and BACH sub-activities of the MATRIX project as well as assisting the development of CAMI Health's new collaborative and interactive StoryMapping tools.
Before joining CAMI, Madison interned with the YesSheCanCampaign, a non-profit organization dedicated to bolstering the network of young minority women working towards higher education, and discovered her passion for women’s empowerment. During her time as an undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University, she weaved this enthusiasm in with her public health coursework and identified a keen interest in minority women’s health and maternal health outcomes. In the fall of 2022, Madison will begin a Master in Public Health degree with a focus in Maternal and Child Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
