Mr. Siyanda Tenza

Siyanda is a researcher, qualitative interviewer and coordinator, based at Wits Reproductive Health and HIV Institute (WRHI) in Hillbrow Johannesburg, a leading organization in South Africa, conducting multiple clinical trials with a focus on reproductive health, vaccines and HIV, STI prevention and treatment. He holds an honors degree in Policy and Development and his role at WRHI encompasses data collection through interviews, surveys and focus group discussions with AGYW, Key Informants and other Key populations, looking at their opinions on innovative solutions to HIV and STI treatment, care and male partner engagement in healthcare services. Qualitative data collected at WRHI is used to inform design and implementation of clinical studies that bring potential prevention solutions to real world situations, bringing an idea of how they can be integrated in local clinics and other healthcare service centers.
