Scholastica Wanjiru
Pharmacist
Scholastica Wanjiru is a pharmacist by training (B. Pharm) and a budding research scientist. She has experience in community-based health projects from her 2 years working with Kenya Red Cross Society in Dadaab Refugee Complex. Her research career started as a study Pharmacist in a COVID- 19 Vaccine Clinical Trial in 2022. She is a co-investigator in a study exploring Pharmacies as HIV testing and contraception service points for adolescents and young girls in Kisumu and Nairobi counties in Kenya. She is currently the Site Pharmacist for BOHEMIA project in Kenya under the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI). Her research interests include antimicrobial stewardship, chronic disease medication, tropical diseases and reproductive health.
