Dr. Cecilia Milford, PhD

Cecilia Milford is a research psychologist with experience in behavioural, operational, and clinical trials research, specifically qualitative methodologies and processes. She has a PhD in Public Health and is an Associate Professor/Reader in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of the Witwatersrand. She has worked as a socio-behavioural scientist in the field of reproductive health and HIV prevention and care for more than two decades. She has conducted social science research in Southern, East and West Africa, with diverse populations including policy makers, healthcare providers, educators, key and vulnerable populations (including sex workers, foreign migrants and adolescents), community members and clients at healthcare facilities.
