Kristen Pollick

Program Analyst

Kristen graduated in May 2023 from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she earned a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH). Her academic focus revolved around international health, with a particular interest in social and behavioral interventions. During her time at Hopkins, Kristen worked as a research assistant for the Center for Public Health and Human Rights with the Key Populations Team, contributing to the implementation of a cluster randomized trial aimed to identify effective approaches to empower young women at high risk of HIV in South Africa. Before pursuing her master’s degree, Kristen gained valuable experience as a clinical research assistant in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Kristen is excited to be (re)joining the Microbicide Research Team as a Program Analyst for the Research & Development Team and she hopes to continue to make an impact in HIV prevention product choice. In her free time, Kristen enjoys cheering on Philly sports teams, practicing her Polish language skills with her babcia, traveling, cooking, and volunteering as a youth mentor coach with the International Rescue Committee.
